If you rent out a property to tenants, then as the landlord, it is your responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances within the premises are tested every 12 months and that they are maintained in good working order. As part of issuing a Landlord Gas Certificate, we can inspect your gas meter, pipework, and any selected appliances. So long as everything conforms and is safe, we can issue you with a certificate stating so. Once issued with a certificate, you must keep it for two years. If during testing, it is found that any gas appliances are non-compliant, we can advise on corrective action and assist in putting things right where needed.
